Post Trauma Support & Treatment
Something happened. And it is still happening to you.
An assault. A bereavement. An accident. A campaign of bullying. A diagnosis, a divorce, a disaster, a media storm. Trauma comes from many directions, and for people in demanding professional roles it is often endured silently, worked through, and never actually treated.
Post Trauma Support provides specialist clinical treatment for psychological injury, delivered by a clinician who understands both trauma and the professional world you have to keep functioning in.
Trauma is an ordinary human response to an extraordinary experience. Treated properly, it does not have to be permanent.

Specialist treatment protocols
Anna is qualified in EMDR II, TIR, and TRAT, evidence based protocols for reprocessing traumatic experience so it stops intruding on the present.
What Is Post Trauma Support?
Post Trauma Support is specialist therapeutic treatment for people experiencing the effects of trauma and psychological injury, whether from a single shocking event or from adversity sustained over time.
The work helps you process what happened at a clinical level, so that your mind and nervous system can finally file the experience as past rather than present, and helps you return to wellbeing, engagement, and a life that is yours again.
It is delivered privately, at your pace, with warmth and directness.
What Brings People Here
The Experiences This Work Treats
Anna specialises in assessment and recovery from extraordinary events of many kinds. Some clients arrive soon after the event. Many arrive months or years later, when it has become clear that time alone is not doing the healing.
Whatever brought you here, you do not need to have the right words for it. Arriving is enough.
If you know something has happened to you, or you are still trying to work out what has happened, both are the right starting point.
01
Shocking single events
Assault, robbery, accidents, workplace injuries, sudden bereavement, manmade and natural disasters. Type I trauma: the unanticipated event that strips away everything you felt you could rely on in an instant.
02
Sustained adversity
Bullying and harassment, domestic abuse, prolonged disputes, chronic illness, unrelenting pressure. Type II trauma: the slow accumulation that chips away at your sense of self, your trust in your judgement, and your safety.
03
Professional and public wounds
Media attack and intrusion, public criticism, career ending events, cyber attacks, business catastrophe. Experiences the professional world expects you to absorb, and which leave real injury.
04
Life ruptures
Divorce, critical illness, the loss of someone or something that organised your world. Events that are common enough that their traumatic impact is routinely underestimated, including by the people going through them.
05
The trauma you have been carrying for years
The experience you worked through, moved past, and never actually treated. It surfaces in your sleep, your reactions, your relationships, and your leadership. It is never too late to treat trauma, and treating it changes what is possible from here.
Getting The Right Help
Why Talking About It Is Not The Same As Treating It
Many people who come to Anna have already tried support that helped them cope but did not resolve the injury. There is a reason for that. Trauma is neurological as well as psychological, and resolving it requires methods designed for how trauma is actually held.
This does not mean lengthy, agonising therapy. Trauma reprocessing is often more contained and more precise than people expect, and it is always taken at a pace your recovery can hold.
Support Without Treatment
Coping, managing, enduring
General counselling, wellbeing support, and the encouragement of friends can all help you carry the load. But you cannot think yourself better, and you cannot intellectualise your way through trauma. Understanding what happened is not the same as your nervous system releasing it.

Specialist Clinical Treatment
Reprocessing the experience itself
Anna uses evidence based trauma reprocessing protocols, EMDR II, TIR, and TRAT, alongside three decades of clinical experience, to help your mind and body process the experience at the level it is held. The memory remains, but it stops intruding. The past becomes past.

How Treatment Works
Private, Paced, And Clinically Precise
Every person and every trauma is different, and the work is shaped accordingly.
What is constant is the environment: private, unhurried, and safe, with a clinician who has spent her career with people in the aftermath of the most severe events.
Sessions are held online or in person, UK and international. Post trauma support is also available to organisations arranging treatment for affected employees, often following critical incident debriefing.
A private conversation
A free, confidential initial call. You do not need to tell the whole story, and you will never be pushed to. A conversation to understand your situation and whether this work is right for you.
Assessment and safety
Understanding what happened, how it is affecting you now, and what your recovery needs. Establishing stability and safety first, because trauma treatment done properly never re-traumatises.
Reprocessing the trauma
Clinical treatment using the protocol suited to you and your experience, whether EMDR II, TIR, TRAT, or trauma resolution art therapy for known traumatic experiences. Always explained clearly, always at your pace.
Recovery and return
Rebuilding wellbeing, engagement, and executive functioning, and where relevant, supporting your return to demanding professional life so that recovery holds under real conditions.
Who This Is For
For The People Expected To Keep Functioning
Anna works with leaders, professionals, and individuals in demanding roles, people for whom trauma arrived in the middle of a life that could not simply stop.
Clients include CEOs, founders, executives, professionals in exposed roles, and individuals referred by their organisations.
You do not need your experience to be recent, and you do not need it to be the worst thing that has ever happened to anyone. If it is still happening to you, it qualifies.
You kept going because you had to. Recovery is what makes keeping going sustainable.
Individuals recovering from a shocking event: assault, accident, bereavement, disaster, or injury.
Individuals carrying the effects of sustained adversity: bullying, harassment, abuse, or chronic pressure.
Professionals whose trauma is tangled up with their work: media intrusion, business catastrophe, public scrutiny.
Organisations arranging specialist treatment for an affected employee, including after a critical incident.
The next step
It Is Never Too Late To Treat Trauma
Whether your experience was last month or twenty years ago, the first step is the same: a private conversation.
There is no fee for an initial call, no obligation, and nothing you have to be ready to talk about. Anna will meet you exactly where you are.
