This represents a 71% increase since 2009! This increase is associated with longer working hours, and the extent to which operational demands take precedence over employee wellbeing. Clearly, this situation is unsustainable.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″ css=”.vc_custom_1454563950501{margin-bottom: 1rem !important;padding-top: 1rem !important;}”][no_elements_holder number_of_columns=”four_columns” switch_to_one_column=”never”][no_elements_holder_item aligment=”left”][/no_elements_holder_item][no_elements_holder_item aligment=”left” item_padding_768_1000=”0 10px 30px 10px” item_padding_600_768=”0 10px 30px 10px” item_padding_480_600=”0 10px 30px 10px” item_padding_480=”0 10px 30px 10px”][no_progress_bar_vertical show_percent_number=”no” show_percent_mark=”without_mark” text=”24%” title=”2009″ bar_content_height=”200″ bar_color=”#999999″ background_color=”#ffffff” percent=”59″ text_color=”#999999″][/no_elements_holder_item][no_elements_holder_item aligment=”left” item_padding_768_1000=”0 10px 30px 10px” item_padding_600_768=”0 10px 30px 10px” item_padding_480_600=”0 10px 30px 10px” item_padding_480=”0 10px 30px 10px”][no_progress_bar_vertical show_percent_number=”no” show_percent_mark=”without_mark” text=”41%” title=”2015″ bar_content_height=”200″ bar_color=”#00aec5″ background_color=”#ffffff” percent=”100″ text_color=”#00aec5″][/no_elements_holder_item][no_elements_holder_item aligment=”left”][/no_elements_holder_item][/no_elements_holder][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”grid” text_align=”left” padding_bottom=”67″ css_animation=”” box_shadow_on_row=”no”][vc_column][vc_column_text]I have counselled numerous powerful executives, who tell me that workplace demands gradually and insidiously require them to stop taking care of themselves, even in the simplest ways: At first it’s skipping lunch, then they’re skipping breakfast, lunch and dinner. They start working longer hours, eventually finding themselves working most of the night, neglecting even their most basic needs (including taking bathroom breaks!) Adapting to these kinds of conditions is possible, but it comes at a high price. I’ve seen many times how this behavior leads to increased physical illness, diminishing mental health, and even complete breakdown.

Kindness Incorporated wants to help you prevent the loss of your vigor, creativity, and dreams, without sacrificing your profitable business or stimulating, lucrative career. This is hard for many people to accept, but my experience shows that it is possible, using my proven methods. My ultimate goal is to put my private practice out of business, eliminating the mental and physical breakdowns caused by the gradual buildup of stress in the workplace.

If you are the leader of a corporation or business, looking for new, effective methods, I can help you develop a healthy and productive workplace environment. Remember: Your relationship with yourself is the single most powerful tool to get you to the top of your game and keep you there.

Is Your Company KIND? A Burnout Prevention Quiz

We all know that bad news travels fast, but this is about GOOD NEWS traveling faster.

Without greater willingness to tackle anxiety and depression, a staggering 12 billion workdays will be lost to the two disorders between now and 2030. These are the findings of a World Health Organization (WHO) analysis, recently published in The Lancet Psychiatry.

The atmosphere within a company affects the mental and physical health of the staff. This quiz is a spotlight on how kindness shows up in business and is looking for levels of companionship, consideration, and care at the workplace.

This 10-question quiz is for everyone throughout the company, no matter their job or status. It is about putting humanity at the heart of human resources. Is your company committed to discovering the nuances of culture that leads to burnout? Secret codes, rules, lost breaks, long hours, attitudes of mind, company comforts, company discomforts.

If employer and staff answers tally, the company will receive a Kindness Incorporated Seal of Approval. Your company will also get a chance to be part of the Kindness Inc. Business Showcase.
